I guess it is befitting that I met you at a place known for sweetness for you are joy, personified. From your quick wit to your eccentric sense of humor, your ‘angry young man’ intensity to your Dragon Ball Z doting, from your squeals of laughter to your sighs of world-weariness, everything about you is endearing. It baffles me how you’re so many persons all rolled up in one – ranging from a 16 year old to the wise old 44 year old I had philosophical conversations with. Cannot wait to discover more! :P

May life bring you the very best it has to offer. May you stay forever young and well, for when you don’t, you’ll always have me and some good scotch for company.

In the past year I've known you, it has been like knowing multiple people - a grown-up, responsible (almost) 23 year old, a 13 year old who lives off Kellogg's; a tantrum loving 8 year old; and most inexplicably a cranky hormonal teenage ... can I say girl?

Thank God for the one time in XL that you went to the gym because having you around is like having family; the sort who will lock themselves up for days in a room but you stop bothering because in all probability it is just another marathon Top Gear or Dragon Ball Z session.

You've kept me sane in this crazy past year to the extent that your mattress on the floor feels like a therapist's couch, your bear hugs a constant source of support and that (epic!) knife a constant source of awesomeness. Let's just say, if we were stuck in 13th century, I would like you (and your crossbow) on my side, Mr. Knight-in-shining-armour.

This is to hoping you get old fast enough for your age to finally catch up with your cranky, old man personality and that I will be around to witness this miracle. Happy Birthday! :D

Used to call him 'The Angry Young Man' in the 1st year. But then the new moniker originated with the usual mis-pronunciation by multiple profs & WhatsApp typos among friends! Ek shikayat - He stays in his room for a major chunk of the time (reading Marketing bibles, we suspect)

Ehsaan is a gem & supremely sharp in classes. Admire him for that. He participates in class discussions selectively.. but when he does, he does it in style! The 'silent killer' MAXI senior is super insightful in all the Marketing classes. Some teachers totally adore him (the good looks help too :p)

Though the time we spent together was limited to the 2 months of internship, but it was a lot of fun!! In the very short two months that we got in Bombay, you were one of the three best things that happened to me in Mondelez. The others were of course, Peru and the city of Bombay itself. Let me start by saying this - I Love You. More than anything.

Its been more than 10 years that we have known each other and I still feel that there is so much I need to learn from you. I admire your intelligence and your awesomeness (even though I still hate you for telling my dad that you were 85% confident of cracking the JEE :D )

You have always been there for me, however far we have been. I know that whatever happens, I can always count on you.

All the shit that we have been through, those are such sweet memories now. I still can't forget the time when we thought that Samit Basu was dead and we had to write the ending of the GameWorld trilogy. Hahahaha.. those discussions in the park were something. I've been really lucky to have a friend like you. There is so much more that is in store for us in future. I hope you get a big-ass job with a fat-ass salary and come stay in Bangalore. Can't wait for that. :)

I still remember the kind of noobs we were when it came to girls! Just so crazy when you think about it now. As our talks, dreams and aspirations :P. It was all so much more fun because it was with you.
